Day01 Arrival at Kunming
Arrive in Kunming, meet you in airport and transfer to hotel, city tour if time is possible.

Day02 Kunming Stone Forest Overnight at Kunming.
Drive to visit Stone Forest which is about 120km from Kunming, it is one of the most important attractions of Yunnan.

Day03 Kunming/ Dali/ Erhai Lake Overnight at Dali.
Drive from Kunming to Dali, it takes about 3-4 hours. Visit the old Dali town and the gorgeous Erhai lake nearby.

Day04 Dali / Lijiang
Drive from Dali to Lijiang, takes about 5 hours. Visit Lijiang old city. Overnight at Lijiang.

Day05 Lijiang / Zhongdian Overnight at Zhongdian.
Drive from Lijiang to Zhongdian, before arriving at Zhongdian, drive to visit the Tiger Leaping Gorges. In the afternoon visit Sangzanlin Temple in Zhongdian and in the evening you can visit Zhongdian old town.

Day06 Zhongdian/ Deqin / Mt.Meili Overnight at Deqin.
Early morning drive from Zhongdian to Deqin, it takes about 5 to 6 hours, along the way with beautiful landscapes. In the afternoon, see the holy mountain Meili from the view platform. If time is allowed, drive to see the beautiful Mingyong Glacier at the foot of Kawagebo - the main peak of Mt. Meili.

Day07 Deqin / Markham Overnight at Markham
Go on northwards along the Lang cang jiang river valley, the upper reaches of Mekong River. Pass the border between Tibet and Yunnan at Yanjing, arrive at Markham after another 111km to join the Sichuan Southern route to Lhasa.

Day08 Markham / Dzogong ( 158km ) Overnight at Dzogong.
Cross Lancang river, pass over the highest pass- Dongda which is 5008m.

Day09 Dzogong / Pasho (201km) Overnight at Pasho.
Drive from Dzogong to Pasho via pomba pasture.

Day10 Pasho / Rawok-tso /Pomi (219Km) Overnight at Pomi.
The way from Pasho to Pomi, you will see glaciers, snow-capped mountains, forests, local villages and also the beautiful lake Rawok-tso.

Day11 Pomi / Bayi (220Km) Overnight at Bayi.
Drive from Pomi to Bayi, pass by the gorgeous alpine valleys lined with rhododendron bushes, cross over the Serkhym-la, airrives at Bayi town.

Day12 Bayi / Cypresses Park /Draksum Tso Overnight at Bayi.
In the morning drive to visit Draksum Tso ( also known as Basum-tso).The lake and its surrounding views are beautiful and the site is also connected to the semi-mythical ruler of the Kham region and Guru Rinpoche. Take a ferry ride off the southern shore of the lake to visit the Tsodzong Monatery, most probably the highest attraction of this site. Afternoon back to Bayi visit Cypresses Park.

Day13 Bayi / Lhasa (400km) Overnight at Lhasa.
Drive from Bayi to Lhasa along Niyang River, Cross the Mila pass.

Day14 Lhasa sightseeing one day Overnight at Lhasa.

Then back to Shigatse.

The part of road from Yamtso Lake to Langkazi is repairing now, So can not go directly from Langkazi to Gyangtse must be back for Friend-ship Highway to Shigatse then to Gyangtse.

Day05 Shigatse/Sakya / Lhatse (240km 4hours driving, asphalt road in good condition) Overnight at Lhatse.
After breakfast visit TashiLumpo Monastery which was Built in1447 , spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas, afternoon drive to Sakya, visit Sakya Monastery.

Day06 Lhatse / Saga (300kms, 9hours, 4450m high)
Drive from Lhatse to Saga. Overnight at Saga ( Guest House, dorm bed)

Day07 Saga / Paryang (250km, 7-8hours, 4600m high)
Drive from Saga to Paryang through the windswept territory passing many villages and camps of Yak herders with the distance view of snow capped mountains. Overnight at Paryang ( Guest House, drom bed)

Day08 Payang / Lake Manasarovar (294km, 8hours, 4558m high)
Drive from Paryang to Lake Manasarovar through open territory with a view of distant mountains, Yak herders camp, if lucky might come across a herd of Kang (Wild Ass), you will have the first sight of Holy Kailash and Manasarovara. Overnight at the village Hore or Chiu Monastery ( Guest house, dorm bed)

Day10 Lake Manasarovar / Darchen (60km, 2hours, 4560m high)
Drive from Lake Manasarovar to Darchen, prepare for trekking. Overnight at Kailash Hotel.

Day11 Trek from Darchen to Dira-puk Monastery, 20km, takes about 5 - 6hours
The first day’s parikarama is a gradual walk with multitudes of other local pilgrims chanting and praying. The trail leads to few ups and downs till we reach our camp at Dirapuk (4,750 m.). Camping on the nice grassy meadows with a view of Kailash, north west face at Dirapuk for overnight halt.

Day12 Trek from Dira-puk Monastery to Zutul-puk Monastery by crossing Drolma-la Pass, 15KM, takes about 6 - 7hours
Today our parikarama leads to much higher side of the holy path just beneath the Mount Kailash. The walk will bring us to one of the highest point at Drolma La, 5,200 m. before descending to the gradual field towards Zuthulphuk for the overnight camp. Zuthulphuk has a small monastery.

Day13 Trek back to Darchen,14Km, 4- 5hours
The winding gradual tracks finally ends our holy pilgrimage 5hours, Overnight at Darchen.

Day14 Darchen to Zanda (250 Km, 7-8hours)
Drive from Darchen to Zanda, You will have a chance to have Tirthapuri hot-spring on the way. Overnight at Zanda ( Guest House, dorm bed)

Day15 Sightseeing at Guge Kingdom
Morning drive to Tsaparang (Guge Kingdom, 23km), and drive back to Tholing by the evening. Overnight at Zadan ( Guest House, dorm bed)

Day16 Zanda / Ali ( 200Km, 7-8 hours)
Drive from Zanda to Ali, pass Laochi-la and Lalung-la over 5000m , the road is equally tough going. Overnight at Ali ( Guest house, dorm bed)

Day17 Ali / Rutok ( 132km, 3-4hours)
Drive to Rutok in the Late morning, visit Rutok Ancient Petroglyphs around. Overnight at Rutok ( Guest house, dorm bed)

Day18 Pangong-tso ( A lake) / Durma ( 120km, 3-4hours)
Drive to Pangong-tso north 8km from Rutok, it offers a good views. The long lake extends 110km into Ladakh in India. Afternoon drive to Durma. Overnight at Durma ( Guest house or camping, dorm bed)

Day19 Durma / DaHongliutan ( 358Km, 8-9hours)
Drive about 2 or 3hours on the desert over 5000m, start to pass over Jieshandaban which is 6700m high. Overnight at Dahongliutan( 4200m, Guest house or camping, dorm bed)

Day20 Dahongliutan / Yecheng (454Km, 10hours)
It is a long day driving, on the way you will see some snow mountain peaks. When you arrive at Yecheng, have a good dinner after the adventure trip. Overnight at Yecheng ( Guest house, dorm bed)

Day21 Yecheng / Kashgar(250KM, 4-5hours)
Late morning drive from Yecheng to Kashgar. Overnight at Kashgar 2 star standard hotel.

Day01: Chengdu/ Ya’an/ Luding/ Xinduqiao Overnight at Xinduqiao
Depart from Chengdu in the morning, drive to the “rainy city” of Ya’an by the Chengdu-Ya’an expressway, you can see the scenery of Mt. Erlang on the way, through the Mt. Erlang tunnel (about 4.1 kilometers), arrive in Dadu River (which is the deepest canyon in the western of Sichuan), drive across the Tiesuo Bridge in Luding, arrive in Kangding(which altitude is 4298 meters) which is the cradle of love song. And get to Xinduqiao, which is known as the paradise of photographers.

Day02: Xinduqiao/ Yajiang/ Litang/ Batang (400Km) Overnight at Batang
After breakfast, depart from Xinduqiao, then drive across Gaoersi Mountain (the altitude is 4412Km), arrive in Yajiang, and then drive across Jianziwan Mountain (the altitude is 4659Km), Kazila Mountain (the altitude is 4712Km), get to the large open area of Litang grassland (the altitude is 4100Km). After lunch drive across Haizi Mountain, get to Batang.

Day03: Batang/ Mangkang (172Km) Overnight at Mankang
Batang is the hometown of fruits, then we leave Sichuan province, and get in the Tibet border. Passing the Jinsha River, arrive at the last town before the Tibetan border.

Day04: Mangkang/ Zuogong/ Basu (359Km) Overnight at Basu
After breakfast, depart from Mangkang, which altitude is 3900 meters, you can appreciate the scenery of nature, via Zuogong, then arrive in Basu

Day05: Basu/ Rawok/ Bome (219Km) Overnight at Bomi
Depart from Basu, drive across Rawok, visit the Ranwok lake, which is called “the little Swiss of Tibet”, you can appreciate the scenery of nature; in the afternoon arrive in Bome

Day06: Bome/ Tongmai/ Bayizhen (233Km) Overnight at Nyingtri Bayi

Day07 Derge / Chamdo( 340km) Overnight at Chamdo
Drive from Derge to Chamdo via Jomda, crossing the Jinsha river at the boarder and several high passes.

Day08 Chamdo / Jampaling Monastery / Riwoche(105km, 5-6hours) Overnight at Riwoche.
Chamdo is the major transport, administrative and trade centre of the Kham region. In the morning visit Jampaling Monastery on the hilltop, do pilgrimage circumambulation. Then drive to Riwoche.

Day09 Riwoche / Riwoche Monastery / Tengchen (150KM,6-7hours) Overnight at Tengchen.
Morning drive to visit Riwoche Monastery Tsuglhakhang, then start driving to Tengchen, visit Zhizhu Monastery, considered to be Tibet’s largest Bon Monastery. This part road from Riwoche to Tengchen is very narrow, better no stop on the way.

Day10 Tengchen /Sok (306km) Overnight at Sok
Today you will see the fabulous views of nomad camps and yak herds made tiny by the huge range of snowy peaks to the south, cross the stunning Shel-la(4830m) pass, probably you will have a chance to visit the impressive Sok Tsanden Monastery, the miniature Potala.

Day11 Sok / Nagchu (238km) Overnight at Nagchu.
Today you will be well and truly in the grasslands of northern Tibetan. on the way you will pass several small villages, nomad tents.

Day12 Nagchu / Namtso Lake (210km) Overnight at Tent guesthouse.
Take the Qinghai-Tibet Hway to arrive at Damxung, then pass the Largen-La, arrives at one of the three holy lakes in Tibet - Namtso. You can do a bit walking at Namtso Lake side.

Day13 Namtso / Yangbachen hot-spring / Lhasa ( 190Km) Overnight at Lhasa

Generally speaking,the Sichuan-Tibet line is not very good.But the Sichuan-Tibet west line in Sichuan is much better,except Chengdu to Ganzi is bituminous macadam,the rest are all the rough road.Like the Sichuan-Tibet south line,the west line have to cross the high mountains, trickle the rivulets and many of them are repired at the cliff with sporadic landslide.The more harder,the more beautiful view at the cliffs which give the lovers a great allure.

Accommodation Exponent:Three Stars
The accommodation in Sichuan is much better than Tibet,during the process in Mt. Siguniang,Xiaojin,Danba,Luhuo it is much better,but all the rest of small hotels` accommodation and sanitation is very bad.Before departure,you`d better to bring along with one sleeping bag.Emphasising that the youth hostel in these areas are much better than the ordinary hotel with low price, neatness.The livers in it are all the tourists which can make you know more information from the others.

Meals Exponent:Four Star
This is one hard route,before you go,with the well- prepared.Before the road of Danba,the meals are good,but after it,the meals are dominated with Tibetan food.During this route,there are little small restaurant,if you are unaccustomed with the Tibetan food,you’d better bring enough food and fast food.

The Best Season to Go:
Spring/Winter with more rain and snow,the road is slosh and with more landslide,so it is better not audacious to ride the car to there. Contrary,the best season to go is summer and autumn,but always remember that avoid the rainy season.

Day01 Chengdu/Danba(350km) Overnight at Danba
Morning drive the car along the Chengdu-Ya’an highway to cross the Jinjia Mountain,after there,head for Danba.Along the road,visit Xiaojin paddy,pass through the Danba Bridge---which is the only door of the Xiaojin County and Danba County to get to Danba County,at the Suopo village visit splendid Tibetan blockhouse.

Day02 Danba/Daofu/Luhuo(230km) Overnight at Luhuo
After breakfast,visit Danba Tibetan village,along the Donggu Bonsai beauty spot and Bamei grassland beauty spot to visit Tagong Temple which is the Kangba Tibetan Saga Wing’s biggest temple.Along the Bamei,head for Daofu,pass through the Xianshui River where have one earthquake monument.


Day03 Luohuo/Ganzi/Dege(311km) Overnight at Dege
After breakfast visit Shengli White Tower,Shouling Temple,Saka Lake.Along the Ganzi Temple which is built in 1622,head west forward,pass through Renguo about 28km to a place named Rongpencha,Dajin Temple which is the Gelu Wing`s temple just at there.Along the Maligange to Maergan situated in Mt. Que`er(6184km high) and is 7-8km from MaerganAt there,not only the altitude is very high,but also the raod is very steep,incommodious and sloppy with many crooked roads.Up to the Mt.Que`er to Dege which is the cultural center of Tibetan area and is the hometown of the legened Saer King.


Day04 Dege/Jiangda/Chamdo(328km) Overnight at Chamdo
Out of Dege,along the Gangtuo Bridge in Jinsha to the Chamdo area of Jiangda.Jiangda is the first county of the Sichuan Tibet west line enter into Tibet,which is situated in northeast of the Chamdo area,Jinsha upriver.From Jiangda,along the 4000m high mountain,through 4 mountain pass,up to Mt. Mala get to Chamdo,visit Jampaling Monastery and Karuo Ruins.Jampaling Monastery built in 1437 which is Chamdo Monasery for short and is the earliest/biggest monastery in Kang area of Gelu Wing.Karuo Ruins(3100m) situated at the west of Langcang River,far from 12km from Chamdo Area.



Day05 Chamdo/Bada/Basu(265km) Overnight at Basu
From Chamdo to Bangda(4400km) is the conjunction of south line and the west line.Farewell the grassland,up the biggest natural barrier of the Hengduan Mountain---Nujiang Mountain(4893m high),along the famous 99 turn to the lakeside of Nujiang to get to Basu.



Day06 Basu/Ranwu(90km) Overnight at Chamdo
Along the meadow,overlook glaciers get to Ranwu Lake.At the near is the green grassland, flourish qingke and cole.At the middle of the mountain are the thick forest,but at the top of the mountain are the pure white snow.At this tonight,you have to go to Ranwu town to enjoy the Alps like snow scenery.(If the guests want to visit Lagu Glacier,the guests have to buy the exchange fee of the car by themselves)



Day07 Ranwu/Bomi(218km) Overnight at Bomi
Get up early,enjoy the beauty of Ranwu Lake by yourselves,evening return to Bomi.

Day08 Bomi/Niyang beauty spot/Bayi(233km) Overnight at Bayi

Head for the conjunction of Niyang River and Yarlung Tsangpu River and get to Pai Town of the Yarlung Tsangpu River.We have arranged speacially the trekking to the best touring sites in Mt. Nanjiabawa---Daduka.If the weather is fine,you will have a chance to have a view of Mt. Nanjiabawa.From the Zhamu town of Bomi County,through the aboriginal forest,head for the last natural barrier—Maitong.at the process from Maitong to Pailong 15km place,there is floodwater and bolar collapse which break off the use of the road,and the famous 102 coast are at there.After Pailong,the road state turns good,pass through the thick Milang which is another good place for overlooking the Nanjiabawa.Up to Mt. Selaji to get to Bayi town(2400m) which is far from 19km to visit the Cypress Forest in Bayi town.


Day09 Bayi/Lhasa(460km) Overnight at Lhasa
From the Bayi town,along the way enjoy the beautiful Niyang river,after pass through the Gongbujiangda,head forward to the holy lake of Darksum-tso(3500m high,27 sq.km.).Then,drive back to the main stem of Sichuan-Tibet road,get to Lhatse.After getting Lhastse westing,you can have a distant view of Potala Palace,and the dreamlike city—Lhasa is appearing in you eyes.

The tour itinerary:
Day01 Arrive at Lanzhou 100km Overnight at Lanzhou ( 3 star hotel)
Take the fly to Lanzhou, transferred to hotel. Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu province, is in the middle of loess plateau of China and has long been an important city on the Silk Road in history. The Yellow river flows through the whole Gansu province.

Day02 Lanzhou 100km Overnight at Lanzhou( 3 star hotel)
After the breakfast visit the grottos of 1000-Buddha’s-temple in Bingling over the yellow river by boat. The grottos of the monastery are firstly built in 420AD. Figures here are older than those in Dunghuang-Grottos.

Day03 Lanzhou - Xiahe 280 km Overnight at Xiahe( dorm bed)

In the morning drive to Xiahe, which is 2,900 meters above the sea level and almost exclusively inhabited by Tibetans. In the afternoon visit Labrang monastery, the most important religious centre on the northeast border of the Tibet region. The monastery created in 1710, as one of the six grand monasteries in Tibet area, has served for centuries there to connect the Tibetan and Mongolian Lamaism.

Day04 Xiahe - Tongren- Xining 260 km Overnight at Xining ( 3 star hotel)
Drive to Tongren in the morning. Visit Longwu monastery of Gelukpa sect which was initially constructed in Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) as a monastery of Sakya-sect and Wutun village the center of Tibetan Regong-Art, which is a successful mixture of religion and folk art. Day05 Tongren - Xunhua - Xining 210 km On the way to Xining make a stop in Xunhua (the first station in Qinghai province), to visit the hometown of the 10th Panchan lama and especially the divine lucky tree. In the legend he was finally recognized as the "holy child" by help of recognition of the Poplar tree near the house his family lived. Then go to Xining, the capital of Qinghai province. This city is mainly inhabited with Tibetan but also a home of Uygur, Kazak and Hui minorities.

Day05 Xining - Kumbum - Koko Nor Lake 210 km Overnight at Koko Nor Lake(stander room)
In the morning drive to Kumbum Monastery (Ta’er Si) of Gelukpa-sect, which was built in 1560 in Huangzhong county and also one of the six grand monasteries in Tibet. Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Lamaistic "yellow hat sect", was born here. As Kumbum-monastery has always been playing an important role to connect the Mongolian with the Lamaism, today many Mongolian come to this place for worship. Then cross over Sun-and-Moon mountain (Ri Yue Shan). In 641 Wencheng princess of Tang Dynasty passed by this mountain where today a sun-pavilion and a moon-pavilion are built on the summit for people to have a break. The Sun-and-Moon mountain has always been an distinguish line between meadow and agriculture area. After that make a short trekking by the Koko Nor lake, the biggest salty lake in China, with an area of 4,500 square kilometers and an altitude of 3,194m high above sea level. The big lake is acclaimed as "pearl on the highland" and the scenery of which is unusually fascinating and appears different shapes even at the same time. "Koko Nor" in Mongolian language means "blue sea?because of
the lunar shape and the color of the lake.

Day06 Koko Nor Lake - Dulan 320 km Overnight at Dulan (dorm bed)
In the morning drive to Dulan along the Koko Nor Lake, the biggest salty lake in China, with an area of 4,500 square kilometers and an altitude of 3,194 m above sea level. The big lake is acclaimed as "pearl on the highland" and the scenery of which is unusually fascinating and appears different shapes even at the same time. "Koko Nor" in Mongolian language means "blue lake" because of its lunar shape and color. In addition a small island known as "the heaven of the birds" lies in the lake. After a approx. 200 km long driving make a short stopover by the Tsaka salty lake where even the wind should be salty.
Late in the afternoon arrive in Dulan.

Day07 Dulan - Golmud 360 km Overnight at Golmud ( stander room)
Drive through the Tsaidam basin, among which most part is desert with some oasis dotted in. This basin lies in the north of the Amnyemaqen mountain and the road to Golmud is just along the foot of the mountain. The Xiangride oasis is the last one seen in this desert. Late in the afternoon arrive in Golmud, which is a civilazation center where Tibetan culture and Han culture melt each other.

Day08 Golmud - Tuotuoheyan 420 km Overnight at Tuotuohe ( dorm bed)
Drive through the vast wilderness and Tsaidam meadow on the Tibet-Qinghai-Plateau along the road in the foot of the Kunlun-mountain and go on upwards by steep valley to cross over the 4.837- meter-high Kunlun Pass. Afterwards pass by the First Bridge over the Yangtse River and arrive in Tuotuoheyan, which is lain in the head stream of the Yangtse River.


Day09 Tuotuoheyan - Naqu 430 km Overnight at Naqu(stander room)
Cross southwards over the Tangra Shan mountain. On the way the eagles, flocks of sheep and cattle, yaks, snow mountains, tents of Tibetan farmers everywhere altogether form a harmonious unity and allow the spirit and soul of people to relax.


Day10 Naqu - Nam Tso Lake - Lhasa Jeep 480 km Overnight at Lhasa (3 star hotel)
Drive on the vast Qiangtang Grassland for Nam Tso. Cross the 5,150 m Lhachen La Pass and reach the Namtso or Tengri Nor in Mongolian) along the newly paved way and set up camp at Tashi Dorie peninsula. Nam Tso, the biggest salty lake of Tibet, is 70 kilometers long from east to west and 30 kilometers wide from north to south, covering an area of 1,920 square kilometers with an altitude of 4,700 meters above sea level. It is said the holy lake and the holy mountain Nyenchentangla are a couple of lovers, who altogether guard the vast pasture and cattle. Take a walk on the peninsula and visit a small nun temple of Nyingma Sect. In the afternoon drive to Lhasa (3650 m), capital of Tibet Autonomous Region. The city is situated on the bank of the Kyichu River and has long been the "Holy Land" of Tibet.

Day11: Lhasa ciy tour sightseeing 100km Overnight in Lhasa( 3 star hotel)
Morning time buy the entrance of Potala by yourself. Then visit Jokhang Temple, afternoon visitDrepung Monastery.
