Day07 Drive from Saga to Paryang through the windswept territory passing many villages and camps of Yak herders with the distance view of snow capped mountains(250km, 7-8hours, 4600m high). Overnight at Paryang ( Guest House, drom bed)

Day08 Drive from Paryang to Lake Manasarovar through open territory with a view of distant mountains, Yak herders camp, if lucky might come across a herd of Kang (Wild Ass (294km, 8hours, 4558m high), you will have the first sight of Holy Kailash and Manasarovara. Overnight at the village Hore or Chiu Monastery ( Guest house, dorm bed)

Day09 Rest and sightseeing at Lake Manasarivar. Overnight at the village Hore or Chiu Monastery ( Guest house, dorm bed)

Day10 Drive from Lake Manasarovar to Darchen (60km, 2hours, 4560m high), prepare for trekking. Overnight at Kailash Hotel.

Day11 Trek from Darchen to Dira-puk Monastery, 20km, takes about 5 - 6hours
The first day's parikarama is a gradual walk with multitudes of other local pilgrims chanting and praying. The trail leads to few ups and downs till we reach our camp at Dirapuk (4,750 m.). Camping on the nice grassy meadows with a view of Kailash, north west face at Dirapuk for overnight halt.

Day12 Trek from Dira-puk Monastery to Zutul-puk Monastery by crossing Drolma-la Pass, 15KM, takes about 6 - 7hours
Today our parikarama leads to much higher side of the holy path just beneath the Mount Kailash. The walk will bring us to one of the highest point at Drolma La, 5,200 m. before descending to the gradual field towards Zuthulphuk for the overnight camp. Zuthulphuk has a small monastery.

Day13 Trek back to Darchen,14Km, 4- 5hours
The winding gradual tracks finally ends our holy pilgrimage 5hours, Overnight at Darchen.

Day14 Drive from Darchen to Paryang (4550m, 340km, 9hours). overnight at Paryang ( Gusethouse, dorm bed)

Day15 Drive from Paryang to Saga (252km, 7-8hours). Overnight at Saga ( Guesthouse, dorm bed)

Early morning start driving to Rongphu via Shegar, some parts of the road is with constructions. On the way you will cross over Gyatsola Pass at 5,220 m, which is the highest enroute, and from the pass you will see the Himalaya mountain ranges in a clear day.
Rongphu is the highest monastery in Tibet, still a good point to see Mt.Everst. Afternoon start trekking from Rongphu to E.B.C, it takes about 2 hours. Or you can take animal carriage ( 30rmb/per person,round-trip).

Day08 Rongphu/ Shegar/Shigatse Overnight at Shigatse ( 3 star hotel)
If you are lucky enough, you will see sunrise at E.B.C.. About noon time, start driving back to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse.

It takes about two hours to drive to the caves of Yerpa, situated northeast of Lhasa. (King Songtsen Gampo and his two queens are said to have meditated here in the Peu Marsergyi Lhakhang, where they discovered “self-arising” symbols of Buddha-body, speech and mind. Later, Padmasambhava concealed many terma objects around Yerpa, including the celebrated ritual dagger of Sera.

Day05: Yerpa/ Taklung Monastery (Linzhou country) Camping
Drive through Tibetan valleys and cross Chak La pass(5300 metres) before dropping sharply to Taklung (4080 metres) in the Pha-chu valley, about 120km from Lhasa. The Kagyu Monastery Taklung was founded by Taklung Tangpa Tashipel(1142-1210) in 1180 on a location previously inhabited by the Kadampa lama Potowa.

Day06: Taklung monastery/ Reting Monastery Camping
The monastery(4100 metres) was constructed in 1056 by Dromtonpa, the foremost Tibetan student of the great Bengali Buddhist master Atisha.

Day07: Reting/ Terdrom Camping

Drigung is located some 72 kilometers north of Mozhu Gongkar.

Day15 Drive from Paryang to Lake Manasarovar through open territory with a view of distant mountains, Yak herders camp, if lucky might come across a herd of Kang (Wild Ass (294km, 8hours, 4558m high), you will have the first sight of Holy Kailash and Manasarovara. Overnight at the village Hore or Chiu Monastery ( Guest house, dorm bed)

Day16 Rest and sightseeing at Lake Manasarivar. Overnight at the village Hore or Chiu Monastery ( Guest house, dorm bed)

Day17 Drive from Lake Manasarovar to Darchen (60km, 2hours, 4560m high), prepare for trekking. Overnight at Kailash Hotel.

Day18 Trek from Darchen to Dira-puk Monastery, 20km, takes about 5 - 6hours
The first day's parikarama is a gradual walk with multitudes of other local pilgrims chanting and praying. The trail leads to few ups and downs till we reach our camp at Dirapuk (4,750 m.). Camping on the nice grassy meadows with a view of Kailash, north west face at Dirapuk for overnight halt.

Day19 Trek from Dira-puk Monastery to Zutul-puk Monastery by crossing Drolma-la Pass, 15KM, takes about 6 - 7hours
Today our parikarama leads to much higher side of the holy path just beneath the Mount Kailash. The walk will bring us to one of the highest point at Drolma La, 5,200 m. before descending to the gradual field towards Zuthulphuk for the overnight camp. Zuthulphuk has a small monastery.

Day20 Trek back to Darchen,14Km, 4- 5hours
The winding gradual tracks finally ends our holy pilgrimage 5hours, Overnight at Darchen.

Day21 Drive from Darchen to Paryang (4550m, 340km, 9hours). overnight at Paryang ( Gusethouse, dorm bed)

Day22 Drive from Paryang to Saga (252km, 7-8hours). Overnight at Saga ( Guesthouse, dorm bed)

Day23 Drive from Saga to Lhatse (300Km, 9hours ). Overnight at Lhatse.

Day24 Drive from Lhatse to Lhasa (450km, 7hours). Overnight at Lhasa.

Day25 Lhasa/ Ganden Monastery/Dezhong Hotspring Overnight at drom bed.

Day26 Tindrum Nunnery/ Lhasa Overnight at Lhasa.

Day27 Lhasa airport dropping off.

Itinerary:
Day01: Chengdu Overning time in Chengdu( 3 star Hotel)
Arrive in Chengdu, afternoon see the lovely Panda, nightime enjoy Sichuan Opera Show.

Day02: Chengdu/ Kangding 1N in 3 star hotel
Kangding was formerly the capital of the Chakal Kingdom – one of the five independent kingdoms of Kham. The town prospered as the center for the tea-trade between Tibet and China. Traders would travel long distances,carrying herbal medicines from the Tibetan plateau to sell in exchange for the tea grown in the Ya’an region, which appealed to the Tibetan palate when blended with salt and butter.

Day03: Kangding/ Tagong monastery/ Daofu 1N in 2 star hotel
On the way visit Tagong monastery, then drive to Daofu. The Daofu(3125 metres) valley is one of most attractive parts of Kahm, the neatly constructed white flat-roofed houses with their horizontal red timbers exuding an air of quiet prosperity.

Day04: Daofu/ Ganze 1N in 3 star hotel
Drive to Ganzi(3580 metres). In the afternoon visit Ganzimonastery. It was originally constructed by the Qosot Mongols circa 1642. It once had a population of 1500 monks, making it the largest in Kham alongside Chamdo.

Day05: Ganzi/ Paiyu 1N in Paiyu standeroom
Visit Baiyu Monastery.

Day06: Paiyu/ Derge 1N in Dege standeroom
Visit Derge Printing Press.

Day07: Derge/ Dzongchen Monastery 1N in Gueshouse
Drive to Dzongchen Monastery. Dzongchen is recognized as the major pilgrimage site of Buddha-attributes in East Tibet and as one of the largest monasteries of the Nyingma school in Kham.

Day08: Dzongchen/ Zhenchen Monastery/ Shiqu 1N in Guesthouse
Drive to Zhenchen monastery, overnight in Shiqu.

Day09: Shiqu/ Yushu 1N in Guesthouse
Drive to Yushu (3700 m).

Day10: Yushu 1N in Guesthouse Today you will visit Yushu Dondrubling monastery and Trangu Monastery.

Day11: Yushu/ Maduo 1N in Guesthouse
Maduo is a high altitude town(4,300 metres) , where snow is not uncommon in summertime.

Day12: Maduo/ Koko Nor Lake 1N in Tent hotel

Day13: Koko Nor Lake/ Kumbum Monastery/ Xining 1N in 3 star hotel

Day14: Xining/ Tongren 1N in simple hotel
In Tongren visit Longwu monastery.

Day15: Tongren/ Xiahe 1N in 2 star hotel
Drive to Xiahe and visit the famous Labrang monastery there.

Day16: Xiahe/ Lanzhou 1N in 3 star hotel
Drive to Lanzhou and then rest.

Day17 Lanzhou airport dropping off.
